Our Special Families

At Adoption Minnesota we have many families who would like to have you consider them as adoptive parents for your child. These families have placed letters in our "Dear Birth Parent" book and some of them are posted on this website. Please contact us by calling our toll free Birth Parent number, 1-888-333-2275, so we can find out what you are looking for in an adoptive family. Then we can send you Dear Birth Parent letters from those families who meet your requirements.

Our Families are Approved for Adoption

All of our families are approved for adoption and have completed an adoption homestudy valid under the laws of the State of Minnesota. So you don't have to worry that someone you like might not be able to adopt your child! They are a varied and excited group of families who are longing to add a child to their homes and hearts.

	Corey & Tana - Christian couple, married for 12 years. They have a daughter, Aly, age 7. Corey works for a data management company. Tana works in marketing. They both enjoy volleyball, golf singing & traveling. They have a lovable Cocker Spaniel named Disney.
	Joe & Tawnya - They have been together for 12 years, married for 10. They have a 6 year old adopted son named Connor. Joe is a construction painter. Tawnya is a bridal retailer. They enjoy fishing, scrapbooking and family walks together. They have a friendly golden retriever named Scout and a lovable cat named Mo Mo.
	Nancy & John - Suburban couple, married for nine years. John is a team lead in the computer field. Nancy is a quality specialist. John and Nancy enjoy music and play in a community band. They are avid sports fans for professional teams as well as their nephews' youth leagues. They love to travel and spend time with their friends and family.
	Mike & Christine - Suburban, Christian couple have been together for 12 years. Mike is a software engineer and enjoys reading books & running. Christine is a part time teacher and enjoys painting, sewing and scrapbooking.
	Kara & Dave - Urban couple, Kara is a university art history instructor, and Dave works as a web developer. They enjoy hiking with their dog, Sammie, getting together with friends & family, traveling, a love of food, the outdoors, and, most of all, children.
	Kris & Joel - Lutheran, rural couple, married since 2002. Kris and Joel enjoy snowmobiling, Vikings football, camping, biking, traveling, music and spending time with family and friends. They have a small dog named Dakota and 2 cats named Buster Brown and Edward.
	Lynn - Single, living in non-metro city. Lynn is a certified athletic trainer and physical therapist assistant. She enjoys being outdoors, doing triathlons, running, spending time with family & friends, and scrapbooking.
	Robert & Tara - Suburban couple, married for 5 years. Tara is a dental hygienist, Robert is an engineer. They enjoy traveling, cooking & selling on E-bay. They have one small dog named Daunte.
	Kristi & Jim - Suburban couple, have known each other for 10 years, married for 8 years. Kristi is an engineer. Jim is a retail manager. They have a 6 year old son named CJ. They enjoy camping, hiking, riding bikes, scrapbooking, and spending time with their families and neighbors. They have 2 Beagles, Shiloh & Trax.
	Jennifer & Cory - Suburban couple, married 9 years. Cory is a business analyst and Jennifer is a pediatric occupational therapist. They have a 4 year old daughter named Nora. Cory enjoys photography and fixing things around the house. Jennifer likes cooking and gardening.
	Lisa & Greg - Suburban married couple, together for over 20 years. Lisa is a self employed software analyst and Greg is self employed home improvement handyman. They plan to take turns being the stay-at-home parent. They enjoy traveling internationally and domestically, spending time with family and friends, attending cultural events, bicycle riding, and camping.
	Chase & K.T. - Suburban couple, KT, 44 is an attorney and Chase, 39, is a marketing director. They enjoy photography, design, travel, cooking and gardening. They have two miniature Schnauzers.
	Francine & Jeff - Suburban couple, together 7 years. Francine is a business analyst and Jeff is a software engineer. They like to camp, travel, visit friends, enjoy nature and help with animal rescues. They have two part time children from Jeff's previous marriage, Jordan 16 and Michael 13.
	Molly & Michael - Suburban couple, married for 7 years. Molly and Michael own a cleaning and organizing business. They enjoy travel, theatre, hiking, running, reading, watching movies, playing at the pool and spending time with friends and family.
	Chad & Beth - CHOSEN - Suburban couple, together 10 years, married almost 7 years. Chad is a financial planner and Beth is an area sales manager. They have 2 daughters, Madeline, 5 and Eileen, 3. They enjoy running, camping with family and friends, parks, having fun with friends, cooking together as a family & cook outs.
	Todd & Laura - Catholic couple, married for 8 years. Todd, 32, works in the public safety field and also as a fire fighter. Laura, 32, is in financial services. They have a 3 year old daughter.
	Reid & Paul - Suburban couple, together for 8½ years. Reid 31, is a teacher. Paul, 31, is a sales account manager. They enjoy traveling, camping, cabin, sports, cooking & lots of fitness activities.
	Matt & Julie - Married for 11 years, Matt and Julie both work as IT managers. Julie works part-time just a few miles from home. They have 3 children, Katie and Joe, both 7 years old and Daniel who is 1. They enjoy backyard cookouts, playing outside with their children, gardening, camping, reading, playing with their golden retriever, and anything else that involves being together.
	Lisa & Brian - Rural couple, together 15 years. Lisa and Brian have one son, Alex, 3 years old. They enjoy hiking, camping, softball and hockey. They have 1 dog & 2 cats.
	Jacque & Paul - Suburban Catholic couple, Paul is an attorney and Jacque is a stay-at-home parent. They have 2 sons, Patrick, 12, and Aidan, 3½.
	Hâkan & Ella - Urban couple, Hâkan is a business analyst, Ella is a marketing manager. They have one 4 year old daughter, Samira. They enjoy hiking, cooking, biking, traveling, playing games and puzzles as well as spending time with family and friends. They have one dog, a German Shorthaired Pointer named Gracie.
	Steve & Tammy - Suburban Christian couple, together for 19 years. Steve is a sales account manager and Tammy is a clinical research manager. They have no children, currently.
	Dale & Natalie - Rural couple, together 11 years, married for 6+ years. Dale and Natalie, both 40, enjoy biking, camping, canoeing, snowmobiling, gardening, golfing and spending time with family and friends. They have one dog, Chip and a cat, Leroy.
	Gerald & Pamela - Suburban, Jewish couple. Gerald, 41, is a financial analyst and Pamela, 38, is a healthcare clinic administrator. They enjoy volunteering in the community, reading, watching Disney movies, walking, running, playing mini golf and trying all the local ice cream shoppes around town.
	Bruce & Lisa - Urban couple, together for 8 years. Bruce is an environmental scientist and Lisa is a co-founder of a small theater company. They have one adopted son, Lucas, almost 2 years old.
	Tim & Rachel - Urban, Christian couple. Rachel is a kindergarten teacher and Tim is an elementary physical education teacher. They enjoy golfing, fishing, reading, entertaining family and friends & going to the lake. They have one Basset Hound named Emma.
	Matt & Mara - Suburban couple. Matt and Mara have been together since high school. They are both high school teachers. They enjoy reading, traveling, writing and music. They have two Yellow Labrador Retrievers.
	Amy - Catholic single, lives in the suburbs. Amy works as a financial manager and enjoys swimming, hiking, walks to the park, spending time at home with friends & family, traveling and going to the cabin. She has one dog named Nala.
	John & Marie - Rural couple, dated for 5 years, married for 12 years. Marie is a dentist, John is an engineer. The have one 2 ½ year old son named Leighton. The also have 2 dogs, Ranger and Shyla.
	Toni & Naomi - Urban couple, together for nearly 8 years and married in 2008. Toni is an attorney and Naomi is a trader for an investment company. They enjoy running, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. They have a dog named Rosie.
	Brad & Deborah - Urban, Christian couple, together for 20 years. Brad works as a respiratory department manager and enjoys sports, photography and traveling. Deborah is a diabetes education nurse and enjoys writing, acting and traveling.
	Chad & Jenny - Suburban couple, married for 10 years. Chad is 37, and works in sales. Jenny is 35, and works in the health care industry. She will be a part-time stay-at-home parent. They have one biological daughter.
	Doug & Sjana - Suburban, christian couple, married for 5½ years, together for 8 years. Sjanna will be a stay-at-home parent. They have 2 dogs, Diesel and Leinie.
	Jim & Frances -Suburban couple, married 7 years. Jim is a middle school history teacher and enjoys playing acoustic guitar, coaching baseball, and playing with daughter, Emma. Frances teaches high school Japanese language and enjoys cooking international dishes, vegetable gardening, and swimming. They both enjoy their summers off traveling and being outdoors.
	Dustin & Heidi - Rural Lutheran couple. Dustin works as a milk hauler and Heidi is an administrative assistant. They have one adopted son, Bryson, 18 months old. They have 2 dogs, Reno and Brody and 1 cat, Milo.
	Chris & Amy - Suburban, Christian, couple have been married for ten years. Amy is a stay-at-home mom and enjoys gardening, cooking and reading. Chris is a sports enthusiast. They have one son, Mason, age 5. Chris and Amy, together with their son, like traveling, exploring nature and physical fitness.
	Jonathan & Becky - CHOSEN - Suburban couple, Jonathan, 29, works as a software developer and Becky, 27, is a teacher. They enjoy camping and cheering on their Minnesota sports teams. They have one chocolate Lab, named Cody.
	Mitch & Shawna - Both are 32, and have been married for 8 years. Shawna is a special education administrator and Mitch is a software engineer. They enjoy camping, playing games, photography, and spending time with friends & family. They have one adopted son, Anthony, age 3 ½.
	Wade & Jenny - Christian couple, Jenny is a stay-at-home parent and enjoys gardening, travel, and cooking. Wade is a manager at a software company and enjoys golf, travel, and playing games with their two adopted daughters, Emily and Rachel, both 7 years old.
	Pam & Judy - Urban couple, together 8 years, married for 3 years. Judy is an attorney. Pam works as a marketing coordinator. They enjoy hiking, theatre, travel and community service. They have one dog, a Basset Hound and two cats.
	Dave & Brenda - Surburban, Christian couple have been married for 10 years. Dave is a mechanical engineer and enjoys running and Tai Chi. Brenda is an executive assistant and enjoys crafts and baking with daughter Megan, age 5. They spend time together vegetable gardening, camping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
	Shoshana & Rob - Surburban couple have been married for 13 years. Rob is a computer engineer and Shoshana is a stay-at-home parent. They enjoy biking, swimming, gardening, and travel. They have a 5 year old daughter named Davi.
	Chris & Tara - Surburban, Catholic couple have been together for 7 years, married for 5 years. Chris is an attorney. Tara works as a project manager. They enjoy softball, outdoor watersports, movies, going for walks, fishing, golfing and quilting.
	Kim & Wayne - Surburban couple have been together for 6 years, married for 4 years. Wayne is a store general manager. Kim works as a trading assistant. They enjoy golf, camping, sporting events, community activities, cooking & snowmobiling. They have one cat named Lindee.
	Jennifer - Suburban single, 32 years old. Jennifer will be a stay-at-home parent and enjoys reading and travel. She has one dog, a cocker spaniel named Tate.
	Steve & Anne - Suburban Lutheran couple, Anne is a school counselor and Steve works as a nurse manager. They currently have no children but would like 2 or 3. They have one dog, named Woody.
	Nicole & Mike - Christian couple, both are 28 years old. Nicole is a school counselor and Mike works as an IT manager. They enjoy softball, running and spending time with family and friends. They have two miniature dachshunds, Kirby & Bella, and a cat named Pigley.
	Kevin & Sara - Rural couple, married for 11 years. Kevin is a farmer and Sara works part time as a nurse. They have a 3 year old adopted son named Jake. They enjoy tubing, skiing, and snowmobiling, bonfires & outdoor activities, vacation at the lake with friends, family trips to the zoo, parks, & waterparks, couples bowling and watching movies.
	Jerry & Lisa - Christian couple, married for 10 years. Lisa is 30 and is a registered nurse. Jerry is 31 and works as a manager of a bowling alley. They enjoy being around friends & family, playing mini golf, bowling, water parks and traveling. They have 2 dogs, Mickey a golden retriever & Daisy a springer spaniel, & 2 cats Autum and Lily.
	Michael & Kristy - Surburban couple, married since 2008. Michael is 32 and Kristy 31. They enjoy traveling, camping, fishing, sporting events, cooking, & spending time with family and friends. They have one dog, a Lab/Mix named Kally.
	Patrick & Rebecca - Surburban Christian couple, married for 11 years. They enjoy camping, fishing, playing board games & spending time with family and friends. They have one dog named Leila and 2 cats, Boxer and Ali.
	Todd - Urban single. Todd owns two small businesses and plans to be a stay-at-home Dad. He enjoys showing quarter horses, working out at the gym, camping, biking, cooking and traveling/visiting zoos. He has a two year old horse named Ernie, and 2 miniature Australian Shepherds, Syd and Ella.
	Tom & Angela - Urban couple, Tom works as a sales representative for a publishing company and Angela is a sales & marketing professional. They enjoy reading, crocheting, classic movies, music, travel, weather, trains, photography and gardening. They have 2 cats named Ernie & Martha.
