WELCOME! As you begin your search for your family, we understand the decision may be difficult & emotional. Please accept our embrace of peace & comfort in knowing that we will forever love your child unconditionally.

We admire you for your very loving and self-less decision to consider adoption for your child. We promise to raise your child in a secure, loving, & faith-filled home. As we nurture, guide & love your child, please know that you will be cherished by us each day. For medical reasons, having additional biological children is difficult; we are incredibly excited to grow our family through adoption!

WE ARE PAUL & JACQUE:   We met in high school (started dating), attended college together, got married and became parents! We have 2 sons: Patrick (12 years old) & Aidan (3½ years old) and a dog named MacKenzie.

PARENTING UNIQUELY: Our first experience as mom & dad was quite different than many. In the 20th week of our pregnancy, we were informed that our child had a syndrome & would be born (if he survived) with many medical needs. Although quite scared, we strongly believe in the miracle of life & continued on with our pregnancy - Patrick celebrated his 12th birthday this spring! As parents of a child with special needs, we have grown both emotionally & spiritually. We have learned to slow down, be patient, & rejoice in the simple things in life. We have learned an incredible compassion for people, especially those who are vulnerable. We embrace our son & his disabilities & have learned that the smallest steps forward are really something to be thankful for & celebrate!

We welcomed Aidan into our lives 3½ years ago. Parenting a typically developing child has been marvelously rewarding & has connected us with other typical parents. We are thankful for the "simple things": the giggles, the "terrible twos", the need for independence & the calls for "one more nose kiss" before going to bed.

AND HERE WE ARE, SO READY TO PARENT ONCE AGAIN! If you choose us to parent your child, your child will have parents who are able to take the "unexpected curve balls" that life brings our way. Your child will have parents who graciously accept the sacrifices that come along with raising a family. Your child will have parents who believe that each child is differently blessed with unique gifts, no matter how simple or grand that they may be.

ABOUT JACQUE: "Jacque is the best mother I know. Jacque embraces, nurtures and cares for our children, so that they are continually thriving. She has created a wonderful 'joy-filled' home" ~ paul.

As the oldest of 3 children, I learned the importance of care giving and responsibility - traits that are strong for me today as a stay-at-home mother. Spending time with & raising children in a faith-filled home is an essential component of our life. Prior to becoming a mother, I worked as a Registered Nurse with medically fragile children. I enjoy staying busy with family activities, including swimming lessons, music classes, & walks in the park. I am very involved in our church with mothers' groups, marriage enrichment programs & school programs. I enjoy photography, gardening, scrap booking, yoga/pilates & being a MOM.

ABOUT PAUL: "Paul is quite simply...incredible! He has been my dearest friend for a long time. He is very committed to me & our children. A hard worker & provider; he is a man of strong faith & is extremely compassionate. He is my unwavering partner in life." ~ Jacque

I am the youngest of 5 children and enjoyed being a part of a large family with a lot going on. Being the youngest, I have always been pretty laid back; and as a parent, I think that has translated into patience! I have found that patience and an ability to "let things roll off my back" are important skills in raising kids. In addition to being a DAD, I am an attorney in Minneapolis. I have flexibility so that I can maximize the time with my family while still maintaining my practice.

PATRICK: Our big guy "Paddy" is a sweet spirited 12 year old soul. His giggle is infectious, especially when paired with his crooked little smile. All who spend time with him are strongly "wowed" by his determination & self-pride. He enjoys walks in the park, rides on a carousel, swinging in the backyard, playing on his computer & acting goofy with his little brother.

AIDAN: Our little "Aidy Potady" is a 3½ year old with a smile that warms your heart & an energetic presence that fills a room. He has the gift ofendless compassion. He loves his rag doll"Dolly"; anything orange; playing outside; listening to books about Toad & Frog; making forts out of pillows & hanging out with his big brother watching a good movie.

HOME/NEIGHBORHOOD: Our home is in a suburb of Minneapolis with one of the highest ranked school systems in the state. Our neighborhood is filled with warm-hearted people, fun-loving kids, & very friendly canines. We enjoy block parties, backyard bonfires & barbecues, ice cream socials and numerous special events.

A WORD TO YOU . . . PEACE! Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about us. We welcome any questions you may have and encourage you to contact us. We would love to spend time with you to learn about you and your hopes and dreams for your child. We would be honored to be the parents of your child & promise you that your child will know of your love!

LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR CALL - (612) 310-1724
